FOR BODILY INJURIES AND OTHER DAMAGES
In signing the Release, Waiver of Claims, Hold Harmless Agreement, and Covenant not to Sue ("RELEASE") below for myself and/or a named participant under the age of 18, I understand that the EVANSTON BICYCLE CLUB ("Club") and its directors, officers, and members are not insurers of any participant's personal safety during the above-named activity. For myself and/or said minor and for my and/or said minor's heirs and assignees and in consideration for being permitted to participate in any way in the above-named activity, (a) I hereby waive all claims, release from liability, and waive my and/or said minor's right to sue the Club and agree to hold harmless the Club, its directors, officers, and members (each of the Club and such persons being a "RELEASEE"), from my and/or said minor's bodily injury, illness, and/or property damage caused by or alleged to have been caused in whole or in part by the negligence of any RELEASEE or otherwise in connection with this activity, including any negligent rescue operations; and (b) I hereby represent and agree that (i) I have inspected my and/or said minor's bicycle and know each to be in reasonably good and safe condition for the above-named activity, (ii) I have an adequate and reasonable knowledge of prudent and safe bicycle riding and shall ride and/or shall cause said minor to ride in that manner for the protection of myself and/or said minor and for the protection of others, (iii) I am aware of and have knowledge of the State of Illinois Bicycle Rules of the Road, and (iv) if at any time I believe conditions to be unsafe while engaging in the above-named activity, I and/or said minor will immediately discontinue further participation in said activity.
